Netherdirt is the dirt of the nether, somewhat like the overworlds dirt only with a Nether touch. Similarily to how Trees grow on Dirt in the overworld, Glowwood Trees grow on Netherdirt.
A Hoe can be used to break up Netherdirt and grow Dark Wheat.
